Lovely. You always catch such interesting expressions. I just wonder what she is saying and then the boy has another look. Just love the stories your art creates. nancy A.
the title adds mystery, a sense of hidden stories...the look on their faces add to the story.A mix of fear and anticipation. But its like they now more about me than i do about them....it seems like they are mystified to see my world, more than me seeing theirs.
I am an oil painter living in Portland, Oregon with my husband and two little children. I recieved my BA in fine arts from the University of Oregon, studied watercolor in Siena, Italy and oil painting and print making at the Chautauqua Institute in New York. I have been painting professionally since graduating in 2000.
Current obsessions include imaginary friends, snow, little mammals, folklore, superstitions, fortunetelling, wildflowers, wallpaper, cloudy landscapes, the colors of faded polaroids, and other peoples family snapshots.

thank you all, the title on this one came weeks after it was finished. not sure how it occurred to me but once it did it just seemed so obvious.
