people often ask if i work from photos and the answer (except for custom work) is generally no but when trying to come up with a theme for my latest series for the enormous tiny art shows i decided to try a series based on many of the vintage photos i keep in my studio for inspiration.
the show opens at the nahcotta gallery in portsmouth, new hampshire february 4th but the pieces can all be purchased on their website now.

i've just added a few new little portrait blocks to my shop.

after a bit of a break i'm pleased to announce i'll be back doing more art festivals this year and my first confrimed show to announce is that i will be back to do the lovely cherry creek arts festival in denver, colorado this july.
