Jennifer was sure the sky full of stars was a sign of good things to come for Leopold and her

original oil on birch wood panel
6 inches square
sold

i had the simple image of the brother and sister  painted for some time, the background changed from snow to a beach and finally to the pale pink ground with red trees which i fell in love with but it needed some strong color and pattern to contrast the pink and to emphasize the emotion i was trying to convey through the brother and sister - so i made a sky full of stars showing one of those moments when you look around and everything in the world is just right.

i will have a few more originals available soon that i'm pretty in love with and will be sharing here once they are all dry and ready to be sent on their way.  i've also added two new prints to the shop:
she waited for the ice to melt and the rains fell, the water rose and they continued dancing.
