oil painting on birch panel

another in the lucy series, i'm always looking for a reason to paint people on the white cliffs of dover, it's somewhat of an obsession.

beautiful amanda...there is so much unsaid in your paintings and that opens them up to the imagination.

Gorgeous sky and whole painting. Coming by from Girl in a Party Hat! Looking through and so amazed! Do you ever do portraits by request? Just a question since I am not a wealthy art collector (just so I don't lead you on,lol). I have a beautiful daughter who I love to look at (doesn't everyone)!

oops, i've been terrible about responding to comments...
thanks so much everyone.

so jealous beth, how could it have been anything less than amazing.

starrlife - i do custom pieces but only when i have enough time to concentrate on them (they're difficult) which is not right now but when i have an opening in my schedule and am accepting more custom orders i do plan on announcing it on the blog.

amanda - to me the water looks nice and warm, she could just swim.
