i've been painting the little people blocks for about six months now though it feels much longer - having two small children really alters perception of time passing and they are just so a part of what i do now it seems i've been painting them forever - and over that time some of them have definitely stood out as characters that belonged in my little world of paintings. gustava and conrad just belonged together in my mind, there was no escaping it.
