vincent was rather suspicious of his imaginary friend

oil painting on birch panel
6 inches square
sold

this one is from several months ago but there is a new batch of six inch paintings in the finishing stages.

i'm absolutely in love with imaginary friends, though i never had one as far as i know, and i'm not sure if my paintings have influenced henry or if he would have had them anyway but i'm happy to always be followed by an imaginary donkey, rabbit, a pair of birds and pair of chipmunks among other friends of his that come and go.

and excuse my run on non-capitalized writing, as i begin this transformation of my blog to add writing it will be evolving over time to be mine and well i tried to write in a more grammatically correct manner the fact is i'm generally typing as quickly as i can with a baby in my lap so run ons and no caps it is.

great! No imaginary friends for me or my 2 boys so far- although maybe they have as it is never them who break things...eat all the biscuits... or hurt each other!!

I am so looking forward to one of my girls introducing me to an imaginary friend...love this picture and the suggestion of a whole story beyond the title.

This piece brought a smile to my face and memories back to my heart. I had two imaginary friends (I was an only child), but they were both girls and total opposites. We had lovely tea parties together with my stuffed animals and dolls. I still have a place in my heart for them and I'm a sr citizen now. :)

I'm new to your blog and I love your work. Very unique and awesome. I'll have to look up your other imaginary friends paintings. :)
