I saw this at the Salem Art Fair and told you I liked it better than Emily & Alice in Flowers. I see pieces of Klimt backgrounds and foregrounds coming together in some of your work. I lay down color like you cut out shapes. I feel like I'm both Emily and Alice. If this was available as a limited edition, I'd jump, because I can't afford what you're worth for the original. I'm telling my friends about you.
I am an oil painter living in Portland, Oregon with my husband and two little children. I recieved my BA in fine arts from the University of Oregon, studied watercolor in Siena, Italy and oil painting and print making at the Chautauqua Institute in New York. I have been painting professionally since graduating in 2000.
Current obsessions include imaginary friends, snow, little mammals, folklore, superstitions, fortunetelling, wildflowers, wallpaper, cloudy landscapes, the colors of faded polaroids, and other peoples family snapshots.
